Community Outreach Program Ensures Public Access to Project
NSTAR has put in place a comprehensive Community Outreach Program to ensure that residents, businesses, public officials and all other stakeholders in the 345kV Transmission Reliability Project have access to project details so that concerns or questions are addressed in an efficient and timely fashion.
In addition to this website, a Community Hotline allows callers with questions or concerns to contact a member of the project team. The Community Hotline is staffed 24-hours a day to allow callers to reach a person who can address their concerns or refer them to the appropriate contact. A separate Project Information Line also provides callers with details about the project. Information on the project and schedule updates are recorded on the information line on a weekly basis.
Flyers or similar collateral are hand-delivered to impacted homes and businesses to provide notification of impending construction activities. Project newsletters will be distributed monthly to abutters along the construction route.
If you have a question about the project, please contact the project's Community Relations Coordinator at info@transmissionproject.net.
